Garnier Ud Mask Marvelous
A hair mask is a unique deep-conditioning treatment that repairs and restores from the inside out, working to reverse damage caused by processing, colouring, styling and the environment.
After shampooing, apply generously to the hair, all the way to the ends. Leave it on for 3 minutes then rinse.
Aqua, water, cetearyl alcohol, behentrimonium chloride, glycerine, cetyl esters, amodimethicone, ci 19140/ yellow 5, ci15985 / yellow 6,trideceth-6, chlorhexidine dihydrochloride, isopropyl alcohol, persea gratissima oil, avocado oil, methylparaben, butyrospermum parkll butter, shea butter, cetrimonium chloride, hexyl cinnamal, parfum, fragrance ( f.i.l. Focus on your ends. By starting with your ends, you allow them a little more time to soak up and absorb all of the deep conditioning goodness your product has to offer. However, do not over-condition, which results in weak hair that has a more fragile keratin coiling. This is called hygral fatigue (weak hair that leads to breakage).
Hair care tips
Here are some do’s and don'ts for healthy hair;
The proper brushing technique
Avoid using a comb with plastic bristles to prevent hair breakage from static electricity. The best way to brush your hair is by first brushing the ends to remove tangles and then take the long stokes from the roots of the hair to the ends. This technique will help proper spreading of natural hair oil and thus prevent breakage.
Let your hair air dry
If you have no time to let your hair air dry, then use a blow-dryer sparingly and make sure you use a warm setting instead of a hot setting. When drying hair, pat dry. Do not ever rub. You might dry your hair faster but the amount of hair that breaks and falls away doubles up.
Avoid tight hair ties
Avoid using super tight hair ties. Instead, opt for scrunchies with cloth around them. Tight hair ties tend to pull your hair back, which increases friction – this can cause breakage.
Choose satin pillow covers
Sleeping on satin pillow covers is known to reduce hair breakage. Cotton and other materials are quite rough in texture, causing greater friction against your hair.
Avoid using shampoo directly on your scalp. Instead, mix it with some water. This will ensure that the shampoo spreads evenly throughout your scalp. Always rinse your hair with cold water. This flattens the hair cuticle, making your hair softer, smoother and shinier.
